At go-e, certification is a key milestone in the development of our products. Even though the certification takes place towards the end of the process, we have a comprehensive approach and embed standards and regulations already in the conception phase of our products.

You will succeed in this role by operating in diverse roles, researching technical documents, standards and legislation, helping research and development and leading certification processes.

Your area of responsibility

• Driving the certification strategy from design and development all the way through product launch
• Mastering knowledge of certification modules and standardization procedures
• Ability to study technical standards and other regulations, to set the requirements and organize the processes
• Discovery of new standards and country-specific requirements
• Forwarding requirements to Product Management 
• Organization and managing of the test campaigns
• Carrying out specific activities of the certification process, such as tracking information and compiling technical dossiers, witnessing tests at external laboratories, checking and correcting test reports and managing the creation of certificates
• Coordinating product compliance and pre-compliance activities with external laboratories
• Identifying and mitigating certification risks
• Offering support in technical and strategical questions internally up to C-level and externally to partners and authorities

We expect you to have…

• Degree in electrical, automotive, mechanical, industrial, or similar engineering disciplines
• Conducted multiple certification campaigns for electrical and electronic devices
• Working experience in product development, testing, and certification programs
• Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures of approval bodies
• Experience with EU Directives (e.g. EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive), LVD (Low Voltage Directive), RED (Radio Equipment Directive) and related standards
• Experience with external testing laboratories and accreditation bodies
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and product development processes
• Experience with translating standards into product requirements
• High level of reliability, accuracy, and structured approach to work and responsibility to achieve goals
• Strong self-motivation and proactive attitude
• Fluency in English at C1 level

It would be even better if you have

• Experience with project or product management or cooperation with research and development teams
• Experience with MID (Measuring Instruments Directive) and related standards
• Experience with German Calibration Law (Mess- und Eichgesetz)
• Experience in the field of EV charging solutions or e-mobility
• Fluency in German at C1 level

The overpayment is based on your professional experience and qualifications. The collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry applies.
